We took our first train in Egypt overnight from Cairo to Luxor! It was a great experience, and we give a full tour of our private cabin. This is as close to “first class” as it gets here 😉 We arrived in Luxor at 5 a.m. and checked into our hotel for our one full day in Luxor!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years 🙂 Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

    Omg I love y’all so much, I live in cairo and me and my family decided to take a trip to Luxor and take the train, surprisingly this will be my first time on a train (even my mom was surprised when I told her) and I’m so nervous because I felt like it would be a bad experience but this video makes me super excited to go

    The bathroom was definitely….interesting and not what I’m used to but I probably won’t need to use it that much so it should be fine

    I would love to see you two in the uk programme ‘Race across the world’. This year the contestants set off from Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City in a race to the most southerly city in the world, Ushuaia in Argentina, covering a distance of 25,000 km in 2 months, passing through 7 checkpoints in Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, and Chile. Each racer was given £1,453 for the whole trip, roughly £26 per day for travel, food and accommodation but they can work to earn extra money. You’d nail it, errr, except they can’t take electronics or travel by air. You should watch it if you ever get the chance ❤️
