WELCOME to my seventh flight review in 2018. On 28th January, I flew Qantas service QF118 from Hong Kong (HKG) to Sydney (SYD). The operating aircraft was a gigantic Airbus A380-800. As I am a Oneworld Sapphire member (Qantas Gold), I have access to priority check-in, priority boarding and access to the awesome lounges in HKG.

Qantas and Cathay Pacific are the only airlines that fly between HKG and SYD. While Cathay Pacific flies 3x Boeing 777-300ER and 1x A330-300 daily, Qantas flies 1x B747-400 and 1x A330-300, although during peak seasons we can see double B747 daily, or even A380 and A330-200. Virgin Australia is to begin a daily service on this route this year with their A330-200.

#qantas stop being cheap and do the right thing. Permanently injured flight attendant Fuzzy Maiava was advised not to take an NZ$35,000 compensation payment from Qantas so that he could take part in a class action lawsuit against Airbus and Northrop Grumman. However, the case was dismissed on procedural grounds, leaving Maiava without compensation. He remains unable to work or drive a vehicle

I always love your lounge visits, they make me hungry! Someday, I will travel more and perhaps have the status to visit them. Of the aircraft I've never flown on and perhaps won't, the A380 is one I still hope to catch, but who knows how many of them will remain in service now? I'm curious, has QANTAS' service speed improved at all since you took this flight? And why was/is it so slow? Lovely flight and great views out the window!

You seem to forget about how the screwed over the flight crew of the plane that was trying to kill itโ€™s passsebfers

  8. Gripe Water says:

5:17 my school principal would carry only 3 pens – blue, black and red. This crew member carries a bunch of it. What are those for when the only job is to scan the boarding passes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If You think Qantas was good , Then You Haven't tried Singapore Airlines , ( for me , the best of the best ) !
