Takeoff from the world's most dangerous airport: Bhutan Airlines A319 Business Class (Paro to Delhi)

Join me on this flight in Business Class onboard a Bhutan Airlines Airbus A319 from Paro (Bhutan) to New Delhi (India). Considered the world’s most dangerous airport, Paro is nestled in a deep valley and surrounded by sharp Himalayan peaks of up to 5,500 m (18,000 ft) tall.

Is it scary? Flew a helicopter and small plane on the Seychelles, thinking about going to the SS Bhutan Journey next year. I hate flying so much though, because I'm very scared. 🙁

I have watched videos of approach and landing at Paro from the cockpit many times were the pilot uses 'markers' to start the tight turns weaving through the mountains but never any from the cockpit during take off. Do the pilots use the same sorts of 'markers' during take offs? Are the pilots to busy during take offs to allow someone to video from the cockpit.

There is only one country which is out of this world is bhutan. The landscape and the condition of this country has never been changed since their formation.

Not too bad of a take off, try USAF MAC Air(LOL), those are shaky…but the softest landings I have ever slept thru on the hood of a Jeep(actually did, they woke me up to move the Jeep out of the aircraft)…..LOL

  6. Jorge Bobe says:

Poor maintenance on plane or flying with door open,,a bit too noisy,,so no Jets fly to Bhutan,,only their two aircrafts and small planes?
