A very beautiful place but I feel that all the hut's in the lagoon's have spoilt the natural beauty of the place, I was there in 1983 and 1984 when hardly anybody had heard of the Maldives, would love to go back to that time.
Can someone tell me which is the best resort for honeymoon.. we're looking for around 1.5 lakhs.

beautiful for the tourists, hell for the locals. they enslave the Sri Lankans and treat them with such lack of respect and human rights that it makes you feel dirty…. i would go elsewhere next time… there are lots of B&B and hotels nearby who hold themselves to higher standards.
